What does RDI Residential mean?
RDI is USPS delivery metadata that classifies an address as residential or commercial. It is not proof of residence or a guarantee that any bank, platform, or government agency will accept the address.
What does CMRA mean?
CMRA stands for Commercial Mail Receiving Agency. Many virtual mailbox providers require USPS Form 1583 authorization before receiving mail for customers.
Why can an address be RDI Residential and still be CMRA?
RDI and CMRA describe different things. RDI describes delivery type, while CMRA describes whether a business receives mail for third parties.
